This important performance reveals the true story between a son in the United States and his parents determined to escape the rapidly rising antisemitic edicts in Nazi Germany.
Told through actual family communiques, The Ghosts on the Wall is an American immigrant story, a universal theme that resonates directly with our culture today.
After the play, we invite you to play a vital role and participate in a Q&A with Dr. Ken Wald, the grandson of Curt and Regina Schonwald, and Mr. Chris Maly, guest playwright.
Our intent is to make The Ghosts on the Wall a viable, accessible educational tool for teachers in the classroom and for the public at large. Your feedback will ensure the future of The Ghosts on the Wall remains relevant and sustainable with its lessons of determination, hope, adaptation, resilience and identity.
We are looking forward to seeing you for this special evening.Your RSVP by February 4 is greatly appreciated.
**In keeping with the tone of the evening, we are requesting adult audience members only. It is our intent that this production will be available to students at a later date.
